Murder in Silverplate, published in 2004 by Five Star books, was my first straightforward mystery novel.  I was interested to see if I could write in the classic style in which most of the book consists of a series of interviews, out of which we eventually learn the identity of the killer.  The setting, a manufacturer of silver plated giftware, is a reflection of the place where I was employed for twenty-five years, although obviously none of the characters are based on real people.  Sure they aren't.  Honest.  We never killed anyone, but sometimes I was tempted.
